Michelle (Shelley) Kelly is a national showjumping rider, and was on the National Showjumping Squad for Sydney 2000. She has won the Australian Grand Prix at Wentworth Park. Shelley has started and brought many horses through the grades for clients, and specialises in putting individual plans together to suit the different horses’ personalities.
Shelley also has a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Exercise Science and Psychology and is currently enrolled in a Master of Exercise Science (Rehabilitation). She teaches Sports Science at TAFE on a part time basis. This ensures that she keeps abreast of current teaching and Sports Science practices, and can continue to apply these to the services provided by CK Equestrian. Shelley’s academic qualifications help her understand a rider’s physical and psychological reactions under the pressure of competition, and gives her the knowledge and skills to guide the rider to control performance limiting responses.
